PLEASE TEST YOUR SYSTEMS MONTHLY

  • Call the monitoring station at 816.861.1500 or 1.800.463.6023

  • Tell them your name.

  • Inform them that you will be testing your alarm.

Be prepared for the siren to go off.  Then arm your system.  Wait your allotted delay time.

Walk through your house and trip as many zones as you can before disarming the system.

Call the monitoring station and make sure they have received the signals.

 

  • For DSC Panels: Press *3 to view memory. # to escape.

    (See quick reference manual)  Arming your system will remove memory light.

  • For CADDX Panels: Flashing armed light indicates memory or previous alarms.

  • For ADEMCO Panels: Zones that were tripped will be lit.  Arming your system will remove memory light

 

If you ever have trouble disarming your system:
Press # (DSC & ADEMCO systems) * (CADDX systems) and then re-enter your code.

 

IF YOU HAVE A RUNAWAY ALARM/ SIREN FROM LIGHTNING STRIKE OR POWER SURGE:

 

Locate the transformer and the batteryUnplug the transformer first and battery second.

Usually, the transformer is located close to your security panel.  The transformer is a

square box plugged directly into the electrical outlet.  You may need a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the transformer.   The battery is located directly in the panel box.

Remove the red and black wires from battery.

 

TELEPHONE LINE PROBLEMS:

If your alarm has seized your phone line or your phone is inoperable, you can bypass the

telephone line by unplugging it directly from the panel. 

This will need to be done before calling your phone service provider. 

Wait five minutes and check phone line for dial tone. If you have a Dial Tone,

Call us for service 816.436.5398, otherwise call your phone service provider.
